It’s not worth to go into details of how our eating habits have gone astray in the last decade. We practically eat trash, artificial food containing preservatives with uncertain origins; not mentioning chemicals, additional colouring, hidden carbohydrates and chemical leftover.
It is very hard to change a diet you have got used to; especially at these fast times we are living now.
But who knows what should be changed when one doctor recommends a cure while another one quite the opposite. The diabetic diet has buns as its basis – even if pastry is strictly forbidden for diabetic patients.
Should we not eat grain or get vegetarian, so have mostly cereals?
Believe it or not, the solution has always been right under our noses…only we could not see the wood for the trees.
The best solution is to get back to the basics, to our Stone Age ancestors’ eating habits.
What should you leave out of your previous diet?
Vegetables: potato, corn, soya (because of its saponin content)
Cereal grains: wheat, rye, barley, oat, etc (because of the gluten they have)
Legumes: beans, peas, lentils, peanuts (lectin content)
Dairy products: milk, yoghurt, soft cheese, cottage cheese, sour cream, cream etc (they contain A1 beta kazein, lactose, beef insulin)
Only hard or semi-hard types of cheese are acceptable.
Did you know that sugar was not always the part of an everyday diet? – Even a few decades ago only the very rich could afford it. These days we have sugar day by day without limits.
Did you know that the gluten in cereals cause allergic reactions which can be diagnosed as some kind of illness or chronic disease? Even neurotic symptoms or hyperactivity can result from this.
Did you know that lactose can cause dyspepsia, tympanities, eczema and even diarrhoea? It can be the very reason for the acute asthma of your child.
So the best you could ever do is to leave these kinds of food out of your daily menu. Our hunter-gatherer ancestors did not have any of them – it is the diet called PALEO or caveman diet: it does not include refined sugar, cereals, dairy and legumes.
I highly recommend the books of Loren Cordain and Robb Wolf on Paleo diet because you can find some extremely valuable information in them.
