Soon it is the international day of water. I would like to share a couple of things with you in relation to that, things you might not know yet, because sadly that’s how pharmaceutical industry works it’s ways.
There are a lot of things we can live without. Without television or computers. We can let go of our favorite weekly magazines or even our favorite snacks, but one thing is for sure: we wouldn’t last very long without water.
And once we talk about water, we have to talk about salt as well.
How and why?
This is the matter upon which I would like to share a few ideas with you.
A big part of our bodies is made of water and salt, so basically about 70% of our bodies is salty water. In it, in ideal cases circulates about 250 gramms of salt constantly.
However, what we hear all the time is that salt is not good for our health.
One of the biggest ideas of the pharmaceutical industry is to make people believe that the high level of salt consumption is the reason behind circulation irregularities and several other diseases of our times. Several people believe this scare. But where does the too low amount of salt intake lead to?
If we don’t eat enough salt then our bodies will lack on not only salt but water as well, because it is salt that binds water in our system. If our body lacks on salt then water just “runs through” us, and this is the reason why lot of people don’t want to drink too much water, because then it will cause them visiting the toilet way to often.
When someone doesn’t eat enough salt, it not only makes them less energetic and weaker, more tired and moody, but it also causes severe and frequent headaches. Also since their body is unable to bind water, they are struggling with serious constipation.
A salt-depleted man perfect “subject” of the pharmaceutical industry, because you know what medications can be prescribed to him?
• Pain killers.
• Mood altering drugs.
Did you know that when the blood passes through the kidneys, salt water completely filtered out of the blood and into the ureter. From there, however, the body will immediately try to regain the filtered salt! This process is so intense that the 250 grams of salt would leave the body in about 4 hours, had the body itself not regained it.
Interesting. Even though the pharmaceutical industry tries to make us believe that we should consume less salt, our body does its best to keep as much of it to itself as possible. Unfortunately it cannot do it perfectly, that’s why it always loses a small amount of salt.
So is salt harmful for our health?
In my opinion it isn’t. However we should differentiate between types of salt, because food industry „adulterates” even that. If you want to have the best possible kind, then you should go with sea salt or Himalaia salt.
Even though it goes against the doctor’s instructions, I boldly add salt to my food, and it is no problem for me to drink 2-3 liters of water per day, so this is what I advise you to do as well.
